2010/11 SER Team Predictions

With the new season already on us, we over here at SER thought we’d make predictions for the new season in all the top leagues in Europe. See how we think the stars will align in the 2010/11 season.

Ben-

Spanish La Liga- Real Madrid (the new Galactico’s will be too much to handle under the management of Jose Mourinho.)

Italian Serie A- AC Milan (the Rossoneri have been struggling lately, but with some new signings and a new manager, expect a lot from the Red half of Milan.)

English Premier League- Manchester United (with upcoming players as well as the old veterans on the first team, the Red Devils will overtake Liverpool as the most successful club of all time in England.)

UEFA Champions League- Bayern Munich (a risky choice, but I feel last year’s runner-ups have only improved since last year, and with up and coming players including Thomas Mueller, the German side will reign dominant in Europe.)

James-

Spanish La Liga- Real Madrid

Italian Serie A- Inter Milan

English Premier League- Liverpool

UEFA Champions League- Barcelona

Rob-

Spanish La Liga- Real Madrid. Hard to say… it’ll be between Madrid and Barcelona. I think Madrid look very solid on paper and they will win something this year whether it is the league or in Europe. They will however have to get their squad united very quickly. Barcelona already have that spirit among them. I say Madrid.

Italian Serie A- Inter Milan. Roma will put up a very tough test again, I hope, but it will be Inter all over again unless Milan can pull something out of nothing. They are in a rebuilding phase at the moment. They may put up a test if they can get Beckham back on loan, but that appears to be unlikely.

English Premier League- Manchester United (by a country mile). I have the feeling they will be unstoppable this season.

UEFA Champions League- Real Madrid. With Jose Mourinho at the helm of a seemingly endless pool of talent, the Galactico’s will reign once more! Simply put, Mourinho is a genius.
