In an interesting unveil Spanish newspaper, Sport, revealed designs of what they claim Barcelona will be wearing next season.
Allegedly, Nike officials recently presented the new strips to the Barcelona board and got them approved. What is most notable on this new kit is the departure from the defined lines normally seen on Barcelona’s kit, instead the new kit features a gradient colour scheme. Revealed a couple of days ago, this new approach from Nike has disappointed a majority of Barca fans as a poll taken on sport.es revealed that an astonishing 75% of visitors to the site didn’t like the way the kit looks. The new designs also herald a return of the iconic orange away kit famously worn by a Johan Cruyff led Barcelona in 1991/92 and more recently in 2006/07.
Fast forward a couple of days and www.barcabalkan.com obtained these images of what looks to be the new kit, minus the Club World Cup champions badge. There’s no doubting that it certainly looks a lot better ‘in the flesh’ but whether it will change the majority of people’s opinion of the kit has yet to be seen. Barca’s kit sponsor won’t change, the “Qatar Foundation” will still be placed on the front, while Unicef will remain at the back of the kit. Apparently, Nike have not yet decided if “Mes Que Un Club” (more than a club) will remain on the collar or will be moved on to the outside of the kit.

Wtf is this?? Whats wrong with the good old wide stripes??? Milan, Inter, Barca all have those narrow ugly stripes.. and then this wtf…

You guys are over reacting… If these are real they will probably look a lot better in person… Even though they went from a gazillion stripes this year to almost no stripes at all, i kind of like the fading design.
I don’t think I have ever disliked a kit so much.
This is absolute garbage and such a radical departure from what a Barcelona kit should look like. Truly Nike have come up with some appalling designs and I am convinced they are staffed by a bunch of pre-pubescent children with their idiotic boot colours/designs and garish kits.
