Adidas are especially excited about sponsoring Great Britain this year, as it is the first time since 1972 that they have competed in Olympic Football . There has been a lot of excitement and speculation about what the kits will look like and Soccer Reviews just might have the answer!
In the official trailer for the new Fifa Street which comes out in early 2012, a couple of players sporting an Adidas Great Britain kit can be seen. If you put the pieces together it makes sense. Fifa Street will be released in 2012, the Olympics will soon follow and Great Britain only have a football team for the olympics- a team which will be sponsored solely by Adidas. So these Images we are showing you COULD be the Olympic kits for 2012.
With the olympics being held in London, a city mad about football, this is a massive deal for Adidas, who now have the rights to the Football kits. The amount of kits they could ‘possibly’ sell is astronomical and would rack in some large figures. Adidas, being one of the best kit manufactures out there (and my personal favorite), will have to produce a great looking kit in order to be successful and I believe they have done just that.
The kits look great from what we can see in these images, the three red stripes look really good on the blue sleeves and the white base is a cool addition to the kit as well. The design is not whats important though, I believe Adidas are going to release a brand new technology with these kits, what better stage can you do it at? It could be a new type of material, maybe a new TechFit design. Adidas have a new machine that they are using for their new Rugby kits that makes it seamless for a more comfortable and tighter fit. I believe Adidas might use this for the GB kit. Adidas have also released olympic apparel made out of recycled material, Adidas could be making an eco friendly kit, a bit like what Nike have done with their world cup kits.

Isn’t it weird that they’re allowed to publish non-official material in the trailer?
james as u said i think it’s a great time for adidas to show off it’s new techs specially when all the eyes are gonna be on the GB team……..and from what i see it’s a pretty clean kit and will be a big hit surely and more if they put they’re new techs……!!!!!!
