adidas miCoach F50 adiZero – Metallic Silver/Infrared

adidas have unveiled next season’s UEFA Champions League adiZero MiCoach colourway, set to be worn by Barcelona ace, Lionel Messi.

Lionel Messi will exclusively wear this colourway till mid-September, at which point other adidas endorsed players will be ‘allowed’ to sport them. This latest colourway for the hugely popular adiZero MiCoach certainly isn’t one for the faint of heart as, much like other adiZero colourways, it’s extremely flashy.

We reviewed both the synthetic and the leather versions of the adiZero MiCoach with the general consensus being that they were one of the best speed boots on the market right now. What made them so good was their great touch, comfort and strike, three aspects that were noticeable in both versions of the boot.

The biggest feature of the adiZero MiCoach, is as its name suggests, the boot’s miCoach capability. Using a separately purchased miCoach sensor, players can now track many of their statistics from games and training sessions. adidas have redesigned the Sprintframe upper to effectively wrap around the wearers foot and introduced a new adiLite Twin synthetic for the upper, which reduces the overall weight of the boot and enhances ball feel.

A leather version of this colourway is also available, and both will be available for purchase in mid-September for $200US.

Between these are the Black/Lab Green F50s; I hate how they wait to put out nice colorways until right before the next generation is released… if this was a launch colorway they would have sold sooooo many more than those nasty Red/Yellow ones

why does every adizero have to have infrared

    • poshposh

probably because adidas like their adizeros standing out. afterall, there haven’t been any completely toned down colorways with the exception of the black/infrared (i see what you mean there 0.0 )

The last Adizero model had this colour way as one of the two original colours, but yet that still didn’t sell that greatly. Personally i’m not a fan, but i know some people will be so it’s just an opinion.
