What does Amy Rodriguez look for in a good pair of cleats?
“Comfort is key. I need to make sure the cleat fits my foot perfectly so I can have the very best touch on the ball. Weight is important too. I depend on my speed a lot, and therefore, it is important for me to have something lightweight.”
What does she think of PUMA’s Project Pink campaign?
“I feel very proud that I have been able to help with Project Pink. PUMA is trying to spread awareness of breast cancer to women and girls, and I think that through soccer is a great way to do that.”
1st question- I think Amy looks for comfort and durability in a good pair of cleats. Cleats that will not come apart easily, and cleats that will perform well while playing the game.
2nd question- I think Amy feels proud to support the Puma Project Pink Campaign. It is a very good cause and she has gotten many people on twitter (me included) to tweet #projectpink daily.

1) “Comfort is key,” as well as fit. And it has to be the perfect weight, so it won’t slow her speedy feet down!
2) She’s proud to be a part of Project Pink. Soccer is a great way to spread breast cancer awareness, and PUMA is raising money to support breast cancer charities as well.
1. What does Amy Rodriguez look for in a good pair of cleats?
-Amy looks for comfort, to her it is key. She needs to make sure her cleats fit her feet perfectly so she can have the very best touch on the ball. Weight is important to her too. She relies on her speed and having something light weight gives her the edge. Amy has worn Puma throughout her career and currently wears the v1.11s which she says are “comfortable and lightweight”.
2. What does she think of PUMA’s Project Pink campaign?
-Amy feels very proud to have been able to help and be a part of PUMA’s Project Pink. Puma is trying to spread awareness to women and girls and she thinks that it’s a great way to spread it through soccer.

-She needs comfortable, but lightweight shoes that would fit her feet perfectly, in order for her to get “the best touch” on the ball, and also to use her speed effectively. Apparently, PUMA cleats have fit this category, for she has been using PUMA for her career.
