This year’s list of Ballon d’Or candidates has been released. Unsurprisingly, the Spanish La Liga dominated the list, with 12 of the 23 nominees currently playing in Spain’s premier division. Though five Premier League stars were named in the selection, only one Englishman, Wayne Rooney, was deemed worthy of nomination.

Not a bad list, but i think Ribéry should definitely have made the shortlist and Piqué, Drogba should have not.
I agree that drogba shouldn’t be in it but he’s a mile better than that diver ribery and piqué did awful this season, especially against real madrid

Falcao I think should be it next year if he continues his current form.
Possibly Prandelli for what he was able to pull together in the Euros this summer with Italy.
