Extra notes
- We have got an inside word that adidas is planning on releasing the new adiZero earlier than the December release date they first anticipated. We are going to be cautious and say it will be released in November, but it could even be released in October
- We are about 99% sure now that Nike will release more Nike GS boots in December. They will be the exact same material as the original GS that has just been released and the number of boots will probably be limited. However, they will not be as limited and they will use a different color scheme. They will not appear on NikeID, just like the original release
- The new Predator that will be launched in October will likely to be seen as a power boot. However, it will be released alongside the Predator LZ, meaning adidas will be opening up a 4th silo and keep selling the LZ alongside the one we saw Sven Bender testing out

Don’t forget Michael, our boot calendar works on the selling dates of boots in Europe. They technically haven’t even been released yet (as in, they haven’t been officially unveiled), so it is very strange that US retailers are again jumping the gun here
Makes sense. To be honest, the boots fit odd, and the shoe changed my whole game. I pass too “hard” with them, my shots swerve a bit too much, and my crosses go too far. These are my first LZs (I honestly only bought them because I knew the colorway wasn’t suppose to be out yet), but I think they might be my last.
Some times too much of a good thing is bad.

I’ve heard rumours that adidas is making a boot called (or maybe nicknamed) ‘the Dassler’. Anything you know about it?

Well they do match the description of being super light, as well as having elements from the both the adizero and predator line (assuming the band around the forefoot is what we will see on future preds).

sounds cool, bout time they named a boot after the company founder Adi Dassler. If it is named after him and not a prototype cover name then it better do Dassler justice and be a heritage boot.
I saw on a soccer forum that it is super light, around 140g (20g lighter than the Nike Green Speed!). I don’t know how reliable that is though. However what I am most interested in at the moment is the new blackout predator Sven Bender wore. I really want to know more about it, so if you know something reply!
i dont think many people apart from those who work at adidas know much about it. it will supposedly have a hybridtouch upper and “there is nothing on the market like it yet”. a running shoe with similar technology will be released soon. im guessing robin van persie will be the face of this range (seeing as he obviously doesn’t like the LZ). im also guessing many of the forwards and defenders who are wearing the LZ will switch to this, as it suits their game better. @footy spy in the pic I posted, the boot doesn’t look like it has the elastic element that the German guy was talking about. It is placed a little further from the front of the boot and it looks much thinner. Could that just be part of the new sprint frame and on the predator it has predator element added to it? Also, the placement of it doesn’t look like it would help with anything (like shooting).
If you look at Bender’s boots, the elastic/rubber band doesn’t seems to be in the traditional power element position. There already seems to be an element in its place that is hard to see in the pictures. I think the band serves some other purpose, (like making the forefoot more responsive or adding rebound power to the shot?) but we will see how adidas markets it. This boot seems really promising, and the extra comfort is a huge plus.
The pic you posted shows three faint stripes on the instep of the right boot, something the new adizero has closer to the forefoot in a different pattern, so I don’t think its the new F50. Is it the Dassler? Is the Dassler off the drawing board yet? No way to tell.
Also something I noticed about the picture I posted is that it seems to have some bladed studs, but has a sprintframe. Strange…
Hmm, may look that way because its the first generation sprintframe, which is even more strange. Also it seems Bender’s boot have the first gen sprintframe as well. Is this something normal for prototypes or what? Confusing. the sooner we know more about them the better. Any insider information to share @Jordon English?

I’ve heard that the laser to be released in january will have All Condition Control ACC. Is that true?
I don’t know about the laser, but the Vapor IX will have it.
When I searched Puma EvoSpeed I (Jasmine Green/White/Monaco Blue/Fluo Yellow) on Google Images, it came up with boots that had the correct colours but dimples all over the surface, similar to what the Vapor IX will have but deeper. They were also apparently EvoSpeed SLs so perhaps these will be released in January as you said but as a new sub-silo of SLs as Puma did it for a few of their most recent v1s, yet you havn’t got any sign of an EvoSpeed SL on your calendar, so I believe that they’ll release them in January.
I would also like to know whats going on with the next generation of the tiempos. i remember seeing something regarding it a few boot calendar updates ago but it has now seem to have disappeared. any news?
