You may hate us for delaying it by a day, but it’s still as good as ever! The weekend’s action was nothing short of brilliant as far as boot spots go and we’re sure – we hope – that you guys will agree. Let’s get straight to it and showcase the goods…
Neil Danns (Leicester City) – Concave PT
Despite Concave’s liquidation earlier this year, some players still opt to wear the unique power boot and Neil Danns is one of those players.
David Beckham (LA Galaxy) – adidas Predator adiPower
David Beckham was on hand to help secure LA Galaxy’s place in the Conference Final against the Houston Dynamo and he did so in his new boots. This DB colourway is just outstanding. Its contrasting colours are great on the eyes and although it’s a little adventurous for a DB colourway, we simply adore it.
Aleksandr Kokorin (Dynamo Moscow) and Sergei Parshivlyuk (Spartak Moscow) – Nike Mercurial Superfly
The Russian league always throws up a great boot spot and this weekend was no different! Two of our favourite Superfly colourways side-by-side right here. Kokorin has actually given his Superfly – the first Superfly might we add – the permanent marker treatment. This brings back memories of when I tried to the same to my Steam version of the same boot last year… what a disaster that was.
Nick Carle (Sydney FC) – PUMA King SL
Could it be? The PUMA King SL spotted all the way over in Jordon’s home of Australia? It certainly looks like it as his favourite side took to the pitch this weekend. It’s also worth mentioning that Carle’s team mate – Mark Bridge – was wearing the same boots too.
Patrick Zwaanswijk (Central Coast Mariners) – PUMA v1.11
We’re not entirely certain that this is a blackout pair of v1.11s, but it may just be as we can just identify the iconic PUMA stripe on Patrick’s left boot. It’s also one of the shiniest blackouts we’ve ever seen! What do you guys reckon it is?
Luciano Siqueira (AC Chievo Verona) – Diadora
I love the Serie A for a number of reasons – boot spottings being one of them. Does anyone know the exact name of these Diadora boots on show here? Good to see the Cactus Superfly on the pitch (or should that be air?) too.
Simon Gillett (Doncaster Rovers) - adidas Predator adiPower
Gillett’s custom adiPowers look like they should belong on the feet of Beckham, but there is certainly nothing wrong with the classy White/Red combination he slapped on his adiPowers.
Filippo Inzaghi (AC Milan) – Unknown
The Italian veteran is still going strong at the old age of 38, but what is he wearing on his feet?!
Jonathan Ayite (Brest) – adidas adiPure IV
It seems like the marker pen was passed around this week as Ayite bravely blackout out the stripes on his adiPure boots – providing it with a very unique appearance. Bravo!
Bristol City – PUMA v18.15 Ferrari and Pantofola d’Oro Squadra
We couldn’t quite get the names of the players, but we certainly got the boots! If you look to the far right of the line, you can clearly see those Ferrari PUMAs that were once the lightest boot in the world in addition to the prestigious Pantofolo d’Oro boots that are making more than just the odd appearance these days.
Sokratis Papasthathopoulos (Werder Bremen) – adidas adiPure IV?
We’re not certain, but we do reckon that these are a blackout pair of adiPure IVs on the feet of the Greek (whose name we don’t want to type again!). Your views on the boots?
It may be a Tuesday edition, but it was still a great edition with some fantastic boots on show. We’re hoping for more of the same next week, albeit it will be published on the Monday, so don’t fret, boot spot fans! What boot spot was your favourite from the weekend’s action?

Jonathan Ayité, the togolese striker is a Vapor wearer. This guy is not Jonathan Ayité but Jonathan Zebina, french and formally player of Juventus. Sorry for the english
Yeah, looks like some of the gold trim from the blackout AdiPures on that Greek guy.
Always thought Lazaros Hristodolopolous had the best Greek football name, though.
great boot spotting! the other guy in Jonathan Ayite’s spot is wearing some quiet old adipure II’s
I think the Puma King SL’s are maybe just the King Diego with the tongue cut off.
i think inzahgi is wearing puma kings, look at this: http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?q=filippo+inzaghi+catania+2011&um=1&hl=en&qscrl=1&nord=1&rlz=1T4DKUK_en-GBGB220GB221&biw=1024&bih=601&tbm=isch&tbnid=-dXF67zdRETFpM:&imgrefurl=http://oneclick.indiatimes.com/photo/058k1jr8MZ8JL%3Fq%3DLega%2BCalcio%2BSerie%2BA&docid=YzvpF_e7jk7y2M&imgurl=http://www.dlcache.indiatimes.com/imageserve/058k1jr8MZ8JL/x350.jpg&w=263&h=350&ei=Y2i5TsOmGNOr8QO9mbmuBw&zoom=1&iact=rc&dur=1&sig=118390585036284663224&page=1&tbnh=133&tbnw=100&start=0&ndsp=17&ved=1t:429,r:3,s:0&tx=76&ty=85
