Our special Champions League boot spot is here once again, and despite it being a little overdue, it’s always better late than never! Europe’s elite battled it out in week 2 of the Champions League, providing us with some unexpected results and as usual, our eyes were on the lookout for any interesting boots and we weren’t disappointed! Keep an eye out for our International boot spot next weekend.
William Boaventura (APOEL Nicosia) -PUMA v1.10 Lightning SL
Once the lightest boot in the word, this Jamican colourway v1.10 SL was inspired by Usain Bolt, the world’s fastest man. Boaventura obviously likes the match it makes with his kit.
Tomas Hubschman (Shakhtar Donetsk) – adidas Predator Absolute
Wow, Tomas is certainly rolling back the years with these classics! These Predator Absolutes were released prior to the 2006 World Cup and it was a major hit with Predator fanatics. Tomas is also sporting the white/black DB colourway.
Danny Welbeck (Manchester United) – Nike T90 Laser IV
Welbeck is a known Tiempo wearer so is a switch to the new Laser possibly on the cards here for United’s red-hot striker?
Jorge Fucile (FC Porto) – Nike Tiempo Legend Eilte
Fucile is obviously a fan of the World Cup colourway and we certainly agree, despite the fact it’s one Tiempo old!
Pablo Orbaiz (Olympiacos F.C.) – Diadora ?
A bit of help with this one, guys?
Jonas Goncalves (Valencia) – Nike Mercurial Superfly III
Goncalves made some effort in blacking out his white/red Superflys, and he just managed to pull it off. Kudos to him.
Jose Bosingwa (Chelsea) – Nike Tiempo Legend IV Elite
Bosingwa was spotted in training in the sharp white/gold/highlight Tiempo Legend Elite.
There you have it for week 2 of our special Champions League boot spot! Some great boots were on show last week and despite this edition being a little overdue, we hope you liked it!
