Adidas and Chelsea have released a very interesting third kit for the 2012/2013 season.
Adidas have been known to come out with some pretty striking kits for Chelsea in the past, ranging from neon green, orange and yellow. When Adidas released their away kit, we were quite shocked to see that it was much plainer then what we have seen in previous seasons. But now with their new third kit, Adidas have definitely made up for it with one of Chelsea’s most striking kits to date!
According to Adidas, the striking sun graphic on the front of the black shirt creates a contrast in colours, giving the impression of power, while the fade in the graphic represents speed.
The kits available to the fans are made with Adidas’ ClimaCool technology, a mixture of heat and moisture controlling materials, ventilation channels and 3D fabrics which improve air flow to the skin in the key heat zones. Sun colored mesh panels on the sleeve are positioned for better breathability in core sweat zones.
