Corinthians is a club steepled in history, and as one of the most successful Brasilian clubs in history, they’ll be disappointed with their trophy drought, one which extends back to 2005. Corinthians fans will also want to forget their side’s relegation to the second tier of Brasilian football in 2007, and what better way to do that than a kit release? Here is Corinthians’ new kits for the 2011/12 season.
At the launch, Nike were joined by club stars Jucilei and Dentinho, and for those who don’t know, Corinthians also have Brazilian samba stars Ronaldo and Roberto Carlos on their books.
O Timão are looking to keep up their unbeaten start to the season, and surely have the Brasilian title in their sights further along down the road.
Constructed for the ultimate in comfort with Dri-FIT and VCM (ventilated, considered mesh) panels. This new jersey is 13% lighter and 17% more stretchable than the O Timão’s previous jerseys.
The new strips have been engineered to give players a greater competitive advantage than ever before, keeping players drier and more comfortable, allowing them to maintain their optimum body temperature and perform at their peak on the pitch.
An “AUTHENTIC†tag with a unique serial number proves that this jersey is designed to the exact specifications of O Timão.

I think I know the reason why Nike didn’t want Ronaldo to show these lovely shirts.
