This week was full of surprises in terms of bootspotting in the English Premier League, and SER has found the juiciest boot spots for you. If you have any interesting boot spots you’d like to be featured on the site, please email or Contact Us and we’ll put it on the site.
Hugo Rodallega:
Wigan Athletic’s striker, Hugo Rodallega, had the most interesting boot spot by far of the week. When he lined up against Manchester City, he was wearing a very unique pair of customized Nike Mercurial Vapor Superfly II’s, the inside design being colored the current Cactus Green colorway, and the outside and swoosh being the Purple Violet colorway.
Steven Gerrard:
Steven Gerrard was spotted slotting home 2 goals at Old Trafford wearing a special pair of Mi Adidas Predator X’s. He’s been known to wear black football boots, and it’s a surprise that he has customized Predators, as the range has a whole variety of predominant black football boots. The upper is black and the heel counter is gold.

Dimitar Berbatov:
We could not have done this week’s bootspotting without mentioning Dimitar Berbatov. If you haven’t heard, he was definitely player of the week, scoring an amazing hat-trick vs Liverpool. He scored three great goals, including a candidate for goal of the season, a spectacular overhead kick. He did this in a pair of Black/Cyan Adidas Predator X football boots, which is surprising as he has been wearing the original Predator colorway since the X’s release. He also had the boots customized with the old Tungsten Powder from the Predator Powerswerve fitted into the soleplate.
Kenwyne Jones:
Jones has kept up his great start to the season, with yet another goal for Stoke City and the Mizuno Super Sonic Wave. He’s been wearing the Japanese speed cleats for a while now, and we can see why, with his impressive start for his new club. He is one of the few players who wears Mizuno football boots in the top European leagues, and they sure look good on the field. You may even be able to notice the customization he has added to the boots.
Glen Johnson:
The Liverpool right back, who is one of Lotto’s top sponsored players was surprisingly wearing an older model of the Lotto Zhero Leggenda Tre football boots. Right now there is the Fuerzapura range available, but the England international must think that these older boots will bring him some good fortune after a disappointing World Cup campaign.
Jack Wilshere:
SER has exclusively revealed the new Nike Elite range colorways for their top model football boots, and it came as a surprise to us that Arsenal youngster Jack Wilshere had the honor to debut the cleats competitively. He wore the new Blue colorway of the CTR360 Maestri against Sunderland, and they look really fantastic.

During training in midweek, Nani was spotted wearing the Predator X boots.
You’re not at all right about Rodallega’s Superfly IIs. They’re simply Nike id, not a fusion like you said
