Everton Nike 2012/2013 Away Kit

After recently announcing a new partnership with football giants, Nike, Everton have officially lifted the curtain on the brand new away kit Nike have issued to them for the entirety of the 2012/13 campaign.

Behold the stylish and striking Everton away kit, forged by their new technical partner, Nike. There is no faulting Nike on this one. You can’t go wrong with an all-black kit, and the yellow detailing throughout the kit offers a stunning visual element to the classic black employed throughout. For all their criticism, Nike still possess the ability to design some flawless kits.

The shirt features a classic collar and is made from Nike Dri-Fit fabric which is lightweight and manages perspiration, keeping players dry and comfortable for 90 minutes and beyond.

The shirt also consists of 100% recycled material, proving that environmental awareness is indeed a major point for some of the world’s largest corporations.

Funnily enough, Everton have opted to unveil the away kit ahead of the home kit… something you very rarely see today. For all the Evertonians out there, the strip will be officially launched on 23 June with a special event at Everton Two.

This effort from Nike is a sold effort indeed, and it garners our praise. It is certainly a radical improvement in the away department for Everton, who have turned out in some vile away kits over the past few seasons. We know that many of you will be likely to compare it to a similar looking kit donned by a certain Spanish side just last season…
