Following the launch of the CTR360 Maestri III, Nike have released a new advertisement featuring its latest boot, Barcelona maestro, Andres Iniesta and his puppet double!
As Iniesta is considered to be the best playmaker in the world and is constantly pulling the strings in the midfield, Nike thought it only fitting for this ad to feature a puppet version of Iniesta. In the video, ‘Iniesta’ jinks his way past defenders, who rather symbolically are in white, the colour of Real Madrid, while wearing the release colourway of the CTR360 Maestri III on his feet.
While Nike’s latest advertisement arguably isn’t as cool as their Maestri II viral (also featuring Iniesta) it’s none the less a pretty great video. When asked how he felt about the ad, Iniesta said: it ́s (the advertisement) interesting, it ́s cool and to be honest when watching the advert I love it.”
Speaking about the boots that this advertisement showcases, the Maestri III, Iniesta said “Above all I feel very good wearing them, they ́re comfortable, also when striking the ball, when wrapping my foot around the ball, to be honest I love these boots.”
