Wiki(Kit)Leaks: Chelsea 2011-2012 adidas Third Kit

With Chelsea just recently releasing their new away kit in Hong Kong, we were wondering what their third kit is going to look like. Here are some leaked images we have come across!

This is what we think is the most likely candidate for Chelsea‘s third kit. First of all, the labeling and branding look original, and the picture looks legitimate also. As for the design, I personally am a huge fan of it. Adidas have not gone with the crazy neon green and stuck with 3 nice colors that are part of Chelsea‘s heritage, white, navy blue, and yellow. I think the color combination looks fantastic, and would look great on the pitch. I believe this kit will be a huge hit among the more conservative Chelsea supporters as it also has a collar (if I had to change one thing it would be getting rid of the collar!).

Here’s another jersey we came across claiming to be the third kit, however it is most probably artificial. Although the labeling says Formotion, which is one of the technologies implemented in Adidas’ on field authentic jerseys, I believe that this jersey is fake because Chelsea are only issued Techfit jerseys for the players and ClimaCool jerseys for the fans. Not only that but the color is too similar to Chelsea’s away kit so it would be extremely strange for Adidas to release a third kit this similar to Chelsea’s away kit.
