The best player on the planet at the very least deserves his own custom football boots and that’s what adidas have done by creating a Lionel Messi pair of the adiZero miCoach to recognize the three consecutive Ballon D’Ors won by the Argentinian.
Lionel Messi certainly won’t be hard to find on the pitch with this pair of gold/white/black adiZero MiCoach. Adorned with the logo of Messi’s own adidas line as well as the years that Messi’s won the Ballon D’Or embroidered into the iconic three stripes, any fan of the best player in the world would love to get their hands on a pair of these. Unfortunately, from what we’ve been hearing, these will be exclusive to Lionel Messi and nobody else, for now at least.
The back of the boots have the Argentinian flag on them, and to the side of that seems to be a thank you of sorts. Technology wise however, these boots are identical to any other miCoach adiZero on the market with notable features including Sprint Frame 2.0 and of course its miCoach compatibility. Messi is due to start wearing these boots this weekend, so keep your eyes peeled!

I reeeeally like these, really really cool!
I wonder if Messi win another Ballon d’Or then Adidas have to change their signature three stripes to four stripes. LOL.
Really nice…trying to imagine how it would look like with a black outsole…
@ Roy…they have another 3 stripes on the inside…i’m sure Messi could make it 6!!
Haha.. Good one mate. 6 Ballon d’Or would be MASSIVE!
On the side it says gracias todos, meaning ‘thank you all’
are we gonna be able to buy these?
are we gonna be able to buy these?
@Insider_11 – Actually, if you think about it, there’s 6 stripes on each boot, which means Messi could actually win 12. Haha I feel like that may be a little much for even him, though
By that time Barca should have found the new Messi
Bet he doesn’t even wear them. They released the chrome/warning/black pair last year and they were supposed to be Messi exclusive and he never once wore them on the field. Probably just one for the trophy case.
I guarantee he’ll wear them.
they should be exclusive in my opinion. he deserves them
similar thing adidas did with Zidane in the 2006 World Cup when he was given Gold predators.
Out of all the horrible F50 II colorways that adidas has come out with, they’ve finally hit gold (no pun intended).
