Having surprised the whole footballing world by taking over from adidas as primary kit suppliers of Liverpool FC in a big money deal, Warrior Sports is by no means contenting itself with just producing kits as they are set to release an extremely lightweight leather boot in the near future.
We’ve seen Vincent Kompany wear a blackout pair of the Skreamer K-Lite in preseason, Celtic striker Gary Hooper has taken to Twitter to show his blackout pair of the boots, and now the Liverpool coaching staff has unveiled (possibly at the request of Warrior Sports?) the unreleased boot in its full glory.
From these images, it seems like the Skreamer K-Lite should make for a very interesting boot indeed. An almost adidas Predator X and adiPure 11Pro hybrid, rumor has it that the boots will weigh an incredible 192 grams or 6.7 ounces!
Warrior Sports has no intention of stating its arrival onto the boot scene with a bright and garish colorway, rather going with a traditional Black and Red colorway that makes for a very classy looking boot.

Call me crazy, but the coaches’ boots and the ones Hooper put up look different. The coach cleats have stitching, indicating leather or some sort of similar material. Hooper’s has a funky design, probably for extra grip. Are they releasing 2 versions? A synthetic AND leather?

The version the coaches are wearing is the k-leather version aka: k-lite. Gary Hooper was wearing the synthetic version of the skreamer with the rubber on the toe area. Both have identical sole plates, just the upper design that is different. Think of it as Warriors version of the F50, synthetic and leather versions.

Hilarious what sponsorship money will make you do. Next thing they will be changing their undies too. I’ve been watching Being Liverpool which is a fantastic reality show by the way, a must for any football fan. Anyway in the show you will notice all the coaches are still wearing Adidas Copa Mundial. I guess now we’ll be seeing them in this silly American brand. I hate the fact Liverpool is owned by snot arsed Americans, they know sweet FA about football and just bought the club to offload a shit load of their debt when they floated Liverpool FC on the stock market.
