Manchester City and Umbro have unveiled the club’s brilliant looking European away kit for the 2012/13 season.
This striking black colourway has been designed as a nod to the night matches played in the Champions League as well as kits worn by St. Marks (the club City were founded as) in the 1880s.
This European away kit is set to be worn in all of the club’s away European fixtures, as well as some select away Premier League matches. Love them or hate them, this kit is one of three brilliant City kits released this year, and Nike will have a hard time creating better looking ones when it takes over from Umbro next year.
The kit features a v-neck collar, as well as displaced shoulder seams and a curved hem, allowing for greater movement and comfort. The traditional sky blue colour is still present on this kit in the form of the trim, sponsor, club and manufacturer logos.
The Citizen’s European away kit will be available on September 14th, but is available for pre-order on City’s website right now. Are you liking Man City’s latest kit? Leave your impressions in the section below.
