Well… what an eventful week in Europe! My beloved Manchester United managed to get themselves knocked out; their noisy neighbours also tasted the group defeat and the under-fire AVB saw his Chelsea side through to the knockout round. Surprises aside, we are here to showcase the best boot spots from this week’s action. Let’s see what we have today…
Isaka Cernak (Melbourne Victory) – adidas F50 adiZero
A few of you may remember the blackout and whiteout editions that graced the first adiZero this time last year, and it really is great to see one of those editions on the pitch one year on! Kudos to Cernak.
Nolito Duran (Benfica) – Unknown
We are left scratching our heads with this one, as we aren’t too sure exactly what pair of Joma boots Duran is wearing here… any takers?
Dmitri Likhtarovich (FC BATE Borisov) – adidas F50 adiZero
We’ve said it before: this has to be one of our all time favourite adiZero colourways and we wish adidas would slap this colourway on its new adiZero because let’s be honest, the new adiZero colourways are just horrific and too reminiscent of characters.
Lucas Barrios (Borussia Dortmund) – PUMA V1.11
The latest V1.11 colourway is a great match for Dortmund’s home kit, and Barrios is obviously aware of that too. Although, we can’t help but draw similarities to a banana with this colourway.
Mohsen Gqmal (Egypt) – Nike Mercurial Vapor Superfly
No boot spot edition is complete without a throwback Mercurial spot, and although this one is only a few years old, it’s still a cracking colourway!
Hulk (FC Porto) – Mizuno Morelia Neo
Yes, Hulk did debut the new Morelia Neo the other night and there is plenty of hype surrounding the boot for good reason! It’s not everyday that you stumble across one of the best leather boots weighing in at 180 grams. Also worth mentioning that the launch colourway you see here was indeed designed with the Hulk in mind. We will be sure to try and get our hands on these, that’s for sure.
Jeroen Simaeys (KRC Genk) – Joma Total Fit
The underdogs of Europe are great for unexpected results and more so, less worn boot brands! Joma are the ones taking home the spoon this week.
Matthew Foschini (Melbourne Victory) – adidas Predator adiPower
The recently released adiPower colourway has snuck onto pitches in Australia this week and although we aren’t complaining about that, it’s the fact that adidas are lacking in inspiration when it comes to dishing out new adiPower colourways. Seriously, why can’t they just take an old colourway from the Absolute range and slap it on the adiPower?
Robinho (AC Milan) – Nike Mercurial Vapor Superfly III
Ribena here in the launch colourway of the Superfly III. This reminds me of the stubborn Drogba at the start of last season, who refused to change out of the WC colourway for some reason or another.
That’s it for this week’s boot spotting I’m afraid. It’s fair to say that this week’s edition wasn’t at all disappointing but we’ll leave that for you to decide. What was your favourite boot spot?

Is Duran wearing Jomas? The logo on the outside of his left boot looks like it…
Hey SoccerReview community!!!! Heres a video of my little brother showing off his skills! Please check it out and like, it really helps!
