This is the latest boot from Mizuno and Roque Santa Cruz’s boot of choice.
When I first set my eyes on Mizuno’s latest creation, I thought, ‘WOW’! It is a power and speed boot combined, what geniuses [Mizuno]. Not only that but they are the best looking soccer cleats I’ve ever seen the Japanese company make. Mizuno have packed this boot full of technology and are hoping it will pay off.
Performance:
Like with their previous boot models, the Mizuno Wave Ignitus fits like a glove, an important comfort aspect players look for. Something no other boot on the market have to offer is Mizuno’s Mukaiten panels. ‘Mukaiten’ means ‘no spin’. Obvious from the title, these panels are used to make the ball have a more unpredictable ball flight to trouble goal keepers. This is a technology never seen before from other brands and power boots. The Adidas Predator X and Nike Total 90 Laser III both have elements to increase ball spin but not to decrease it! The Wave Ignitus feature a triple density heel counter improving fit, comfort and most importantly helping prevent serious injuries. Last but not least, the Wave Ignitus is made out of super soft kangaroo leather which has been specially reconstructed just for this boot. You will be very surprised how light this boot is for one that is made out of kangaroo leather as well as one designed for power!

and mine just came in and i normally wear size 9 us, 8.5 uk, and prodirect only does uk sizes so i ordered 8.5 uk and they were 9.5 us. so i sent them back and got size 8 uk. they fit perfectly with a little bit of room by the toes. very comfortable
