Real Madrid have fallen victim to yet another defeat in what has been the reigning champions’ worst start to the league in over a decade. Already, star forward Cristiano Ronaldo has come out publicly with his concerns, suggesting elements of chaos exist within the Madrid dressing-room. Now, this prospect seems very real after Mourinho revealed he has ‘lost contol’ of his team.
The catastrophic start to the season has seen Los Blancos already fall eight points behind table-leaders Barcelona, who showed no signs of fatigue during their 4-1 thrashing of Getafe.
There was no trace of last season’s title-winning squad during the dreary match that took place at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan this weekend. Instead, traveling fans were treated to a displeasing performance by a team that has clearly lost its way.
An unusually frustrated Jose Mourinho says he has become detached from his side, whose overall level of intensity and commitment seems to drop more and more each week.
“At the moment, I have no team. The first period and the second period, we got it badly wrong. It was a totally deserved victory for Sevilla and totally deserved loss for Real Madrid.”
The ‘special one’ conceded that Sevilla were in fact the better team and that his side failed to do enough to secure a win, or even a draw.
“Congratulations to Sevilla because they did everything to get the win and they deserved it without a doubt. And we deserved the loss in an awful game for us.”
“Today’s match was no different from Getafe. It was not very different from Granada either, apart from the fact we won. I do not think it has anything to do with the rumour of the past two weeks.”
Mourinho says the underlying issue cannot be traced to any single player, but rather that it stems from the passion –or lack thereof– of the team as a whole.
“For me it’s about the state of our collective spirit.”

Wow. It was figured that Ronaldo was having problems, but the whole team?
…Now thats something
….soo sad to hear this happening in one of the greatest teams with the greatest coach
