The release of the next generation adiZero is just around the corner. We’ve already spotted some professional players testing blacked out versions of the boot, but now thanks to Soccer Reviews fan, Amine Chagh, we’ve got our hands on some photos of a player in Morocco wearing the release colourway of the new adiZero.
I’ll be the first to say that I know very little about North African football and as a result have no clue who this player is. We do however know that he plays for a Tunisian side, CA Bizertin, and on this occasion they were playing away at Raja Casablanca, a Moroccan outfit. Unfortunately the few pictures we have aren’t the clearest, but they do give us an idea of what we can expect. As expected the adiZero has undergone a pretty drastic design change. The adiZero now features the three adidas stripes on the outer side of the boot and contributes to a whole new look for the boot.
Based on the images, we can tell that this player is wearing what we suspect will be the primary release colourway of the boot. Other colourways that adidas are expected to drop include a Lionel Messi design – similar to what Cristiano Ronaldo has with the Vapor series. Spec wise there aren’t any huge new features on the adiZero. Sprintweb, Sprintskin, and Sprintframe are, as expected, still on the boot, along with the miCoach cavity on the soleplate.

They look a lot like American Football cleats now….I don’t like it.
