Nike are thrusting their Clash Collection even further into the spotlight with the release of this neat little production video. In it, Nike detail the reasons behind the creation of their bespoke Clash Collection that will be dividing the pitches as of this weekend.
As a boot fan, it’s always nice to catch a glimpse of what occurs behind the scenes. It’s odd when you realise that the boots on show within the video will eventually end up on the feet of some of Europe’s and Nike’s biggest household names in a matter of days.
The colour chosen to adorn each silo has been selected for a specific reason:
Cristiano Ronaldo – Nike Mercurial Vapor VIII
Solar Red: explosive speed. Find the space and own it.
Wayne Rooney – Nike T90 Laser IV
Electric Green: deadly striker. Accuracy knows no bounds.
Andres Iniesta – Nike CTR360 Maestri III
Blue Glow: the puppeteer. One touch, one pass… meet the controller.
Gerard Pique – Nike Tiempo Legend IV
Black: simplistic style. The elegant player.
This will surely be the last of Nike’s promotional material for their Clash range, as Euro 2012 kicks off this Friday evening. It’ll be interesting to see whether or not Nike’s supposed positional silo plan is in action or not. Thanks to http://therightwinger.co.za/ for the media content.
