Nike CTR 360 Maestri III – White/Green/Volt

Nike’s newest update to their ‘control’ boot has taken the football world by storm, there are flashes of yellow and black football pitch wherever we look, now it is time to let the CTR 360 Maestri III get a new splash of paint. The Yellow/Black/White CTR 360 Maestri III was hugely successful, and Nike will be hoping the new White/Green/Volt colour way will get the same reception.

Launched as a part of the All Conditions Control (ACC) collection, Nike are using a colour way scheme that we have not seen before on any of the CTR 360 Maestri boots in the past. However, any variation on the instantly recognisable two block colour way CTR scheme makes any boot look good, and while it may not stand out as much as the launch colour way of the boot, we think this colour way will be very popular with professional footballers throughout Europe.

The new CTR360 Maestri III is reengineered to deliver enhanced control, traction, support and lightweight comfort. Using next generation Kanga-Lite synthetic material for an assured touch and durability, the new boot also features new All Conditions Control (ACC) technology, providing the same level of control in either dry or wet conditions.

Innovations include a revamped 3D control pad that uses separate strips with fins of varying sizes to hug the arch and maximize contact with the ball, optimizing receiving and passing accuracy. An asymmetrical lacing system enlarges the area used to control the ball and a new streamlined design enhances touch sensitivity. A dimpled texture on the midfoot increases friction, once again aiding the players control and touch.

The new and more responsive plate features a 360 degree stud placement – the boot deploys round studs on the medial side and blades on the lateral – is designed to provide premium comfort; perfect for the midfielder’s constant turns, and cuts through the pitch.

The boot goes on pre-sale on the 27th of September, with a full retail launch anticipated for the 15th of October. Until then, what do you think of the new CTR 360 Maestri III colour way? And nice Hi-Vis Nike Maxim too Iniesta…

I like it, its a bit different than the same color combos we see simply used over and over again.

How are the sizes running? I saw one person report that they ran about a 1/2 size small. If Im going to spend $200 I want the right size!

I would like these if they actually appeared to be that white in person, in reality they look more silver to me. Or if they hadn’t used volt again…

Don’t the yellow/black CTRs have ACC too?
