Nike CTR360 Maestri III: Black/White/Bright Crimson

Nike have unveiled the great looking secondary launch colourway for the recently released Nike CTR360 Maestri III. Check out the primary launch colourway

This red/black colourway is a great alternative for people who weren’t liking the pretty flashy black/yellow primary launch colourway, and we’re loving it! The CTR series has been a huge success with the past two editions being quality boots and Nike will be hoping that the Maestri III can build on the silo’s past successes.

The iconic passpads that the CTR series is known for has been given a total overhaul with the Maestri III. The new pass pad has fins of varying size which are meant to maximize control with the ball and make passing and receiving the ball that much easier.

The upper of the new Maestri has also changed, as it now features the next generation of Kanga-Lite synthetic material which should offer a more durable and comfortable boot. One of the most intriguing features of the Maestri III is the All Conditions Control technology. It’s touted that the ACC technology will  provide equally good touch and control in wet and dry conditions – a claim that our comprehensive review will put to the test.

The redesigned sole plate features 360 degree stud placement, with round studs on one side and bladed on the other. Apart from the usual FG soleplate, the Maestri III will also be available with Nike’s SG Pro soleplate featuring a mixed stud configuration.

Assymetrical lacing on the 9.2 oz Maestri III provides for a larger strike zone, and the dimpled texture on the upper is meant to create more friction, yet again aiding touch and control. There’s a ton of new features on the Maestri III, and Soccer Reviews will be reviewing the new control boot from Nike to see whether or not it’s a better boot than it’s predecessor, the great Maestri II.

The Nike CTR360 Maestri III are available for pre-order now, and will officially go on sale on August 1st. Are you liking this alternative launch colourway? Leave your comments in the section below.

I don’t care how good they are, they’re hideous looking.

9.2? What? I really thought these would be around the 7-8 range, i mean the boot is so much slimmer than before! Anyway, absolutely beautiful.
