After a very successful year of sales with the Mercurial Vapor IV, Nike have begun producing its predecessor, the Nike Mercurial Vapor V. The new version of the cleats are expected for release in April 2009 and are bound to be a big hit once again all across the globe.
It’s suggested that the Mercurial Vapor V’s will go on sale in the United States at an initial price of $220 USD.
It’s also been reported that the SL version of the cleat, which has a carbon fiber sole plate, will be replaced by the Mercurial Vapor Superfly.

The women’s version of the Mercurial Vapor V will be released in April or May this year in the same colorway as the men’s version. The team here at Soccer Equipment Reviews will try getting our hands on the cleat whereas we can give you viewers the lowdown on the new Nike soccer cleats.
