Ronaldinho’s collection of Nike, 10R, has recently released its second generation of cleats’ new colorway, the Ronaldinho Dois Yellow. Dois, in Portuguese, means second or two, and what better name for the collection’s second round of cleats? The first Ronaldinho cleat, was the Tiempo Ronaldinho, which turned out to be a quite a success with professionals and amateurs alike. The catch about the collection is that Ronaldinho himself, helps out with the designers in the look and specs of his products. He played a major role in the development in both sets of cleats, because not only were they designed for him, Ronaldinho assisted in designing them. The major difference with the two cleats however, is with the Tiempo Ronaldinho, there is a lace cover, yet with the Dois, it is an opened laced soccer cleat. Ronaldinho said on the Tiempo’s lace cover, ““With the way I play, I needed a bigger sweet spot.” If he needed a bigger sweet spot then, what made him change his mind?
This yellow colorway represents his national pride and love for Brazil, and has been released recently by Nike to the public. Soccer Equipment Reviews snapped a picture of Ronaldinho featuring his new cleats, in his recent A.C. Milan game. Although not playing to the best of his abilities right now, Ronaldinho is still a very marketable figure, and is looking to make a comeback in his new Nike soccer cleats, the Ronadinho Dois Yellow.
