The ‘Black Pack’ Black/Orange/Blue T90 Laser IV might have been a write off (notice how there are hardly any footballers wearing that colour way?), Nike will be hoping to bounce back with their latest offering, and this one is definitely pretty bright. Nike is breaking a string of KL T90 launches with the new Bright Crimson/Electric Green/Dark Obsidian T90 Laser IV, the first synthetic upper T90 Laser IV since the Grey/Red/Pink colour way.
We may have had 3 consecutive Kanga-Lite T90 Laser IV colour ways, but Nike are making a return to a synthetic T90 with a bang. It is arguably the brightest T90 Laser IV colour way we have seen so far. The bright crimson definitely hits you in the face as soon as you see it, and while the ‘Clash’ colour way was intended to stand out, this creates a totally different visual effect that we normally see on the Vapor series!
With a lightweight Teijin synthetic leather upper and a more streamlined and flexible design than it’s predecessor, the Nike Total 90 Laser IV firm ground football boots offer supreme comfort and superb natural ball feel. Created by Nike to provide a larger ball-striking surface these T90 Laser IV football boots feature off-centre lacing while at the top of the foot shape-correcting memory foam improves power and accuracy on firm ground. This is also the first T90 Laser IV to feature All Conditions Control (ACC), which is an upper material and surface texture (more or less a layer of texture) that provides the wearer the same level of control in wet or dry conditions.
On the lateral side of the Total 90 Laser IV firm ground football boots a thin layer of foam provides cushioning while strategically sized and angled polyurethane swerve fins on the new shot shield generate the extra friction and ball spin you need to hit the target. Consisting of cast polyurethane triangles on flexible strips, the power zone on the reconfigured shot shield gives the Nike T90 Laser IV firm ground football boots enhanced accuracy for sharper shooting and pinpoint precision.
A high density EVA sockliner with Poron insert provides the Nike Total 90 Laser IV football boots with contoured arch and heel support and additional comfort, distributing stud pressure evenly on firm ground surfaces. For the Total 90 Laser IV football boots, Nike have engineered a completely new dual density TPU sole plate with an improved moulded stud design that maximizes pitch penetration speed on firm ground without increased stud pressure. Integrated ridges within the sole plate of the Nike T90 Laser IV provide medial, lateral and toe-off traction, reducing slippage on the side of these football boots for additional traction on firm ground surfaces.
We have already seen Wesley Sneijder debut the Bright Crimson T90 Laser IV in the weekend just past, are you going to get your own pair? Share your thoughts in the comments section below.
