Fresh off their releases, the latest cleats from Nike, the Total 90 Laser III and the Vibrant Yellow Mercurial Vapor Superfly saw Barclays Premier League action on the weekend with a number of stars sporting the new boots.
The Manchester United and Aston Villa Premiership clash was used for the first showings of the Nike Mercurial Vapor Superfly football boot in Yellow/Black/Gold that was used by Gabriel Agbonlahor and the new Nike Total 90 laser III football boots this weekend in the Green/Black/Red colourway that was worn by Wayne Rooney in competition for the first time.
The Nike Mercurial Vapor Superfly football boot in Yellow/Black/Gold is the lightest and most expensive production football boot in the world and this stunning colourway will be worn by Cristiano Ronaldo of Real Madrid but it was young Villa striker Agbonlahor who was wearing the new boots when he scored his teams opening goal with a near post header after a good cross from winger Ashley Young in the first half.
Other matches were also graced by the new Nike cleats, including the clash between English giants Arsenal and Liverpool. Fernando Torres wore the new Nike Total 90 laser III however this was one of the few matches this season he hasn’t found himself on the scoresheet. Other notable players debuting the boots in the match were Denilson, William Gallas and Arsenal and England forward, Theo Walcott. His team moved up to third in the Premiership after their 2-1 victory against Liverpool at Anfield yesterday( Sunday 13th December).
