PUMA has released a new and more subtle colorway which will be fitted onto the evoSpeed 1 football boot. You can expect players such as Sergio Aguero, Yaya Toure, and Shane Long to all be wearing this new colorway in the next couple of weeks, but as for now, Soccer Reviews has all the information on the PUMA evoSpeed 1 Metallic Silver/Team Green colorway (including a video!).
Released in conjunction with four other sport specific EvoSpeeds, the EvoSpeed 1 has been constructed around the principle of “light, flex and fit.” PUMA has created a one piece synthetic upper for the EvoSpeed to ensure that you get a great touch on the ball, and that the boot molds to the shape of your foot.
An interesting new feature on the EvoSpeed 1 is the new Everfit cage that Puma have incorporated into the boot. Puma have incorporated this into the boot to provide your foot with a greater amount of stability. The heel counter is one thing that Puma have kept from the V series, but apart from that not much has remained the same. The stud configuration on the EvoSpeed 1 is quite unique, as Puma have opted for a mix of blades and conical studs. There is also no more carbon fiber on the soleplate, instead a single piece TPU outsole has been incorporated into the boot.
The new PUMA evoAptoLast is a further development of the AptoLast fit, a successful carry-over from the v1 range. This provides the PUMA evoSPEED 1 with the perfect fit. Internally, the boot offers support and fit from the EverFitCAGE, a webbed print application which acts to cradle the foot around the lacing system.

Homerun! Looks fantastic! I don’t know why companies don’t use silver on their boots more often. Personally, I love silver boots!
I like the look of the boots, though I would personally black out the purple parts. This makes me think of how cool the Razzle Dazzle colorway of this shoe would look with silver instead of white! Also, why is there an Umbro video on the page?
I like it.
