Puma V-Konstrukt III

Puma have released the latest colorway of their Konstrukt collection. The new Sapphire/White incarnation is expected to be worn by defenders all across the globe, with the likes of Nemanja Vidic, and Manchester City goalkeeper, Shay Given, debuting the latest colorway.

The reason that the V-Konstrukt is so popular with defenders and goalies alike is that it offers one of the most protective uppers in the soccer cleat market. The reason that the Puma cleat is renowned for its protection, is because of the ball-impact guard which protects you from flying studs, and the finger shaped heel counter offering stability. Puma also put effort into the comfort of the cleat, with Duo Cell, EVA, and Aptolast technologies being integrated into the boot. Duo Cell is extra padding on the sole of the foot, providing cushioning whilst running. The dual density EVA is provides more padding around the heel and ankle, preventing chafing, and allowing a more smug fit. And lastly Aptolast, the new Puma technology, which they says allows their cleats to maintain a glove like fit around the foot, after molding around the wearer’s foot. With an off-cener lacing system, the German sports giants also say their players’ kicks will be more pristine and precise than ever before!
