[tab:New Colorways]
Despite questions over their initial colorways, Puma have hit back this New Year’s with three new colorways.
The initial Blazing Yellow and Chili Pepper Red colorways raised quite a few eyebrows, but Puma is hoping to start 2010 strong with three new colorways. Two of them have the same colors in reverse orders, while one has no connections with the others at all! You can expect the new colorways to hit fields across the globe as well as going on the feet of Nicholas Anelka and other stars. Stay tuned to SER as we’ll have a review up on the Puma V1.10 soccer cleats in a few weeks!
[tab:Midnight Black]
Two of the three colorways are mix ups of one of the original colorways, the Blazing Red Pepper. It has a black body with red and white sides. Personally, I find it to be the best colorways of the 5 which have been released, and I’m going to say it: They remind me of Spiderman! The Spiderman look is really the Kinte African patterns splashed across the cleat.
[tab:K-Leather White]
Puma has gone back to the basics with this particular cleat. To the satisfaction of classic cleat lovers, Puma has released a K-Leather cleat with a simple white/black/red colorway. This to shares the original colors and is the reverse colorway of the midnight black! Puma were also able to keep the same weight in this Kangaroo Leather version as the Micro-Fiber upper with a solid 8.2 oz!
[tab:Gold]
The third of the three colorways is a dazzling (to say the least) gold/black/red. Above is the cheaper Puma V2.10 which comes at a much more affordable price. It also weighs in at a light 9 oz! This certain colorway has already been seen on the feet of Porstmouth’s Aruna Dindane! I’m not sure what Puma were thinking on this colorway, however they have been known to create some pretty flashy colorways and some people appreciate that.
