Here is the new Umbro Ireland away jersey for Euro 2012; the white shirt has a two tone green strip running down the shirt, underneath the Irish FA crest on the players left hand side, that turns round the collar on the back.

The Umbro logo is on the players right hand side and the squad number will be placed beneath it. This is the players version and fans will have the Three sponsor logo placed in the center of the jersey, as is customary with ROI kits.
The jersey will be worn for the first time competively when Ireland face Italy in their last Group C match of Euro 2012, to be played in Poznan, Poland on June 18th. Before that the Irish have two games against Croatia and Spain, but they will wear their home jersey for those tournament fixtures.

why does umbro bother with such classic jerseys, in my opinion they are ugly compared to jerseys such as chelsea’s or barca. why not create a modern day kit that will actually sell??
