After just two years at Manchester City, the Brazilian striker has completed a move to Ac Milan for a price reportedly in the region of just £17 million, £15 million less than what City initially paid for the forward’s services. Robinho will head to Milan at the same time as Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who has just arrived from Barcelona. Ac Milan look like the leaders in the race for the Serie A title after winning their first match of the season 4-0, while defending champions Inter had to settle for a 0-0 draw with Bologna. The 26 year old is looking forward to joining up with his new team mates at the San Siro.
“I always heard great things about Milan from Kaka, and I’m sure that the other Brazilian players will help me integrate into the team. I hope to satisfy all Milan fans, I’ll train hard to make it happen. I want to make them all happy.”
Robinho will be hoping to regain his status as a world class player this season after failing to impress during his short time in England.
