With the recent release of the Adidas Predator X, there’s been a lot of hype about the cleats, both good and bad. While we previewed the cleat, and are working on getting a pair for a review, we’d like to give you the chance to win a pair of the boots! Courtesy of JustSocca, we are hosting our first ever cleat giveaway, with the Adidas Predator X. The giveaway will run throughout the rest of November, and we’ll announce the lucky winner at the beginning of December.

I’d love to win a pair of the 10th iteration of the adidas predator, the predator X, which went by the moniker ‘trustrike’ during production. Many fans dislike the look of the boot as it eschews the classic predator look and fold-over tongue for a more tight-fitting boot to increase comfort and control. The same reason applies to the replacement of the predator vamps with of a silicon rubber surface which allows for better feel of the ball as well as increased power when kicking. This power increase is augmented by the power-spine in the sole of the new predators which replaces the powerpulse chamber of the previous powerswerve iteration of the predators.
All these improvements mean a more comfortable boot with a better fit and a better feel for the ball, while still retaining the classic predator promise of adding power and swerve to your shot. The only improvement I have an issue with is the taurus calf-leather. Not having worn the boot myself I don’t know how it feels, but seeing as they removed the kangaroo leather I would have expected the boot to be a bit more affordable. I also don’t see any reason for the change expect to get around rumoured Californian regulations about the leather. However, if kangaroos are indeed being killed for their leather than this is a very good move that I am fully in support of. Cattle are killed all the time anyway and their leather might as well be used….since there’s so much more of it. Kangaroo isn’t exactly a world-wide staple food like beef.

Wow. I have to say out of all the boots Adidas has released this has to be the most beautiful one. I think that the new power-swerve concept they put into these boots will make shooting better for players.
I also think the colors for the predators this year is very nice. The red and black in my opinion go very well with each other.
I was looking for a long time to replace my cleats : the old predator’s. I’ve looked through every single new cleat possible, but the new predator x’s are what caught my attention the most.
The color combination for this generation of predator x’s is pretty good, not like other shoes where the colorways are extremely funky of weird.
Beckham’s version of the predator x’s are so nice. Even the yellow ones are pretty good too.
Love how theres a cleaner and better sweet spot for kicking the ball fast and accurate.
as far as im concern the new predators has the most complete look. second of all i would love to win this new cleats to start of my new high school season since i missed last years season with an injury hurting my team, it would complete my look for the upcoming season. Also waking up every morning watching robin van persie,micheal ballack and my inspiration steven gerrard of liverpool in the premier league inspires me to work harder and harder recovering from my injury and i would be very thankful if i won this cleats in help0ing me to achieve mt goals.
