This football weekend has brought tons of bootspotting surprises which we at SER would love to share with you guys.

Carlos Tevez spotted wearing the Nike CTR360 Maestri Elite, in which he scored two goals vs Liverpool.

James Milner looked to be wearing the Nike CTR360 Maestri Elites with a SG sole plate (however we can’t be 100% sure) on his debut versus the Reds from Liverpool.

Joe Hart, AKA Super Keeper, was spotted wearing the White/Gold Umbro Speciali’s and the special England Umbro Goal Keeper Gloves. He kept up his string of fine games alive vs Liverpool, and it seems even more likely Shay Given is on his way out of Manchester.

Fernando Torres loves White K-Leather boots, so it was an obvious choice to pick these White/Black/Blue K-Leather Nike Total 90 Laser III’s.

Ryan Babel was switching between the Nike Total90 Laser III’s and Mercurial Vapor Superfly’s last year, but it seems that he has met his match with the CTR360 Maestri Elites.

Aussie hero Tim Cahill was spotted wearing the Champions League Edition Predator X’s when he slotted home a beauty for Everton, and these boots certainly look classy with his club’s kit.

Paul Scholes has been in great form lately and was spotted wearing the Red/Black Nike Total90 Laser III’s which are very popular with his team mates. They also go great with the Manchester United home kit.

SER has been observing Drogba’s cleats very carefully and have come to the conclusion that he is wearing Superfly I’s with the Elite Colorway painted on and the Nike Red laces on top. Towards the end of last season Drogba did not wear the Superfly II’s and opted for his Black/Yellow Superfly I’s. We believe that Nike had made him special pairs for the World Cup as he had the Superfly I sole plate on them. Now Drogba is using them for the Premier League as Nike have not made him a custom Green Superfly I colorway to look like the current Cactus colorway.

The biggest shock though of the Premier League this week in terms of bootspotting was Darren Bent’s switch back to the Umbro Speciali’s. This is going to damage Umbro’s marketing for the GT Pro’s as Darren Bent is their star endorser. It does speak testament however to the quality of the Speciali’s.

Lionel Messi was scored a hat trick vs Sevilla, however he wasn’t wearing his new Gold Adizero’s but his ever so popular Leather Chameleon Purple ones.

David Villa was spotted wearing the Chameleon Purple leather Adizero’s along with Lionel Messi. Not only are they now wearing the same kit, but also the same boots!

The biggest boot spotting surprise in the La Liga this weekend was Xavi wearing the first ever Champions League Colorway for the Predator PowerSwerve’s. Xavi must either really love the PowerSwerve’s or really dislike the Predator X’s.

Luis Fabiano could not create magic in his Superfly II Elites’s in their 4-0 loss to Barcelona.

New recruit Sami Khedira was spotted wearing the Nike CTR360 Maestri’s for Real Madrid.

Real Madrid’s latest recruit Mesut Ozil was spotted wearing the Superfly II’s with the Nike Sense studs.

Cristiano Ronaldo has finally made the switch to the Cactus Green Superfly II’s after wearing the Elite colorway all pre-season.

The Master of the Mukaten Panel, Keisuke Honda was spotted training for CSKA Moscow wearing the Yellow Mizuno Wave Ignitus.

Craig Bellamy made a starring return to his home town of Cardiff by scoring in his debut game with the Mercurial Superfly II’s

It seems nowadays that every new boot gets a fantastic debut and Samuel Eto made sure that that continued by scoring in his new customized Puma v1.10 SL Lightning with what looks to be a different heal counter and a special sole plate. We at SER think the White/Blue colorway would have gone better with his Inter Milan kit, but he must have made the right choice with two goals vs AS Roma.

Great boot spotting mate!
Can’t believe Xavi is still wearing those old old power swerve’s..
Was at a Mizuno store this afternoon… the boots that Honda appears to be wearing look more like the second grade Ignitus, not the top grade with a panel on the instep and a separated additional heel.
It’s funny because I was watching the FC Barcelona game and was specifically trying to see what colorway Xavi was wearing. I noticed that he was wearing these and thought the same thing that you concluded. We’ll see what he’s wearing this weekend. Maybe Adidas will get him a new pair of something new?
