With one final frontier existing in the world of soccer equipment reviews existing, the crew here at SoccerReviews.com decided to explore the last frontier and provide the world with the first-ever podcast about Soccer Equipment and to showcase some of the world-traveled staff that we have here at Soccer Reviews. On a Saturday morning in the United States and a fading Saturday night in Australia and Hong Kong, we assembled a group and started discussing our passion and shedding insight into the business that SoccerReviews alone can provide. The result was a blast for those of us involved, and we hoped that our readers (now considered “listeners”) would enjoy it as much as we did.
Despite the desire to name our first podcast after several other famous “firsts,” my “nerd-factor” got outweighed by the fact that the title needed to showcase this monumental step. Names like “Soccer Reviews and the Sorcerer’s Stone” or “Soccer Reviews: The Phantom Menace” were tossed to the wayside as only one name seemed appropriate for our most recent venture.
After much debate, welcome to the Soccer Reviews Podcast: Episode One. (Warning: Some passionate language is used- we care a lot about the equipment)
We hope you enjoy this podcast as much as we enjoyed making it. We started by introducing ourselves and then jumping into a bevy of topics relating to the future of equipment and discussing the current climate of the equipment world. We were unable to cover some of the footy topics that we had hoped to discuss, but we hope that you enjoy this podcast enough that we are able to do more in the future. A lot of work went into this thirty minutes, but we hope that you enjoy it enough for us to continue producing something like this. Also, you can expect introductions from the rest of the Soccer Reviews Team who were unfortunately unable to attend this podcast, so you can sure that you’ll hear from the likes of James Batchelor, Danny Sursock, Jon Nicholson, and Derek Perkins as well in the next podcast or so!
Was this the most boring thirty minutes of your life? Would you like us to continue making the podcast? Should Ben be kept away from CEO’s for a while (you’ll need to listen to be able to answer that question)?

i’m totally digging it!
Nice podcast! Like it a lot! Btw I was looking at some pictures from the Japans national teams training sessions. I found a picture of the Nike Tiempo Legend 4 in the sail/white color way. http://livedoor.blogimg.jp/koheisblog/imgs/d/b/dba581b0.jpg
The player wearing them is Masahiko Inoha.
I liked some of the topics you’ve discussed on (like the future vapor IX, the futere of leather boots and the game day boots), and I liked the idea of the podcast..but I would like to see some written article about them, because for people like me (I’m from Italy) it’s not always easy to understand everything you say and it’s a lot easier understand a written article..:)
put it on iTunes!
Great podcast guys! Are you still looking for writers?
Great podcast, looking forward to the next one.
Hey guys,
On behalf of Andrew, Ben and Isaac, thanks so much for the feedback we’ve received on here, YouTube, Facebook, everywhere about the first podcast. We are stoked to see you guys loved it, and we will definitely be going back for round 2. We had an absolute blast recording the first podcast, and it’s fair to say we’ve been taken away by what you guys have thought about the podcast!
And Nick, unfortunately, we are not looking for writers at the moment, although that might change. However, as soon as we need new writers, we will have a campaign up and running to sign the best writers out there, so keep an eye out for that!
