Soccer Reviews Most Wanted Christmas Gifts

It’s only one month away until the biggest day of the year (well, for some of us) and everyone at Soccer Reviews is excited for the day where the big man comes down the chimney and brings us the best presents for being good this year. But what if you don’t know what to get this year? Or you aren’t sure what to get for a soccer crazy friend/brother/sister/sibling? Soccer Reviews brings you the gifts that any footballer would love!

Footwear

adidas F50 miCoach adiZero (Bundle pack) – $270

It’s one of the biggest boot releases of the year, and the temptation of the ‘football boot with a brain’ is probably the must want present for every footballer! The addition of the miCoach Speedcell allows you to track distance, top speed, average speed and even the amount of times that you sprinted. The F50 adiZero range carries some big names, including Ballon D’Or winner Lionel Messi, Spurs young gun Gareth Bale and World Cup winner David Villa. It’s something I’d certainly want to see under the Christmas tree!

adidas Predator adiPower – $220

Well, what can we say that hasn’t already been said? The adiPower is the eleventh addition to adidas’ fabled Predator line and this incarnation is without a doubt one of the best. The inclusion of the SprintFrame from the outstanding adiZero sheds the weight down to 230 grams whilst the reengineered silicon components around the lacing area and instep provide an awesome blend of power and control. And with big names such as Kaka, Nani and Xavi sporting this boot, you just can’t go wrong with adding it to your Christmas wish list!

Puma PowerCat 1.12 – $180

It’s been a while since Puma have delivered a PowerCat that carries as much class as the PowerCat 1.12 in the White/Blue/Gold colourway. As worn by Barcelona star and World Cup winner Cesc Fabregas, the redesigned PowerCat 1.12 has burst onto the scene and nestles itself in the market with a decent price (US$180). A great choice for nearly every position on the park.

Nike5 Street Gato CR7 – $85

Indoor football is growing more and more popular, and indoor football boots are essential. So what better boots can you wear than those designed by CR7? Inspired by Cristiano’s love for premium white sneakers, the Street Gato CR7 would look great on the pitch and off it! They are designed to be used at any time, meaning the boot is built to be tough. Yet it still looks good at the same time. A wise choice for sneakers that can be used all the time.

Clothing

Nike Manchester United Pinnacle M65 Jacket (Barcelona also available) – $175

The most stylish (and probably warmest!) way to support Man United or Barcelona this season. The full zip woven jacket is designed to keep you warm, even in the coldest of conditions. With loads of pockets and a convenient packed in hood if it starts to rain or snow, it’s got the Man United (or Barcelona) badge on the left sleeve so your loyalty can’t be questioned. An awesome present for Man United and Barcelona fans.

adidas Chelsea Anthem Jacket (Liverpool, Real Madrid, AC Milan and Bayern Munich also available) – $70

Quickly becoming a must have supporters item, supporters jackets are seen everywhere and are one of the best ways to show off your loyalty. Made in the colours of nearly every major adidas side, it’s the same jacket that your favourite stars wear whenever they are on the bench for your side. Moderately priced present that will always go down well, if you pick the right jacket that is!

Nike USA core jacket – $70

Every national supporter needs a jacket adjourned with their own country’s colours, and this USA core jacket should be essential for every USA fan. With USA printed across the back of the jacket, it’s the best way to support the stars and stripes whenever (and wherever) they play!

Accessories

Under Armour ArmourBite – $30

How many performance enhancing products can actually claim to make you better? The Under Armour ArmourBite certainly can. We were blown away by the results of our recent review of the ArmourBite (check it out now if you haven’t already). Certainly a cool little present that’s a little bit ‘out there’!

Nike Seitiro High-Vis ball – $150

So maybe some of us don’t like spending too much on a football, but we know from past experience that a more expensive ball lasts longer and end up being better value than the cheaper footballs on the market. We recently reviewed the High Vis Seitiro and found it to be highly responsive and the colours make it easier to pick up the flight of the ball. Nike consistently make top quality footballs, and you definitely know that’ll you’ll be getting a great product with any Nike football.

adidas Sprint II gloves – $20

For when the going gets really, really tough. We’ve had some freezing winters in the past, and they don’t call off games or training sessions just because it’s too cold. Keep yourself extra warm in adidas’ own gloves. Just don’t take throw ins with them on.
