The decision to ban Luis Suarez for 8 matches has left Liverpool in an uproar as they believe that England’s Football Association made the wrong decision. The FA released a report detailing the reasons behind their verdict, but some, including Dalglish himself, claim ‘vital’ information was intentionally hidden.
The Merseyside club have declared that they will not make an appeal against the ruling, but already hundreds of supporters have written in pleading Suarez to do otherwise. The general belief among those backing Suarez is that the FA failed to take into consideration the Uruguayan’s cultural background which could have allegedly disproven the notion that Suarez is a racist.
However, members of the prosecution have refuted the idea, claiming the professional linguistics expert who analyzed the words used by Luis was able to confirm that the spanish vocabulary that was spoken is indeed used regularly in parts of Uruguay.
Dalglish, whose Liverpool side was dismantled yesterday at the Etihad, has lashed out at the footballing body, arguing that information regarding the true facts of the Suarez-Evra row was deliberately withheld in an attempt to slash the South American’s credibility.
The Scottish manager has refused to apologize on behalf of his player and by doing so is therefore ignoring the request sent in by the FA which specifically requested the submission of an official expression of regret. He instead chose a more defensive route which included thrashing the court report that was released shortly after the ruling.
Kenny, 60, believes the official story released by his opposition failed to cover what really went on inside the courtroom and has instead been filled with holes and deceit.
“It is unfortunate that you don’t actually know the whole content of what went on at the hearing. I am not prepared and I cannot say. I cannot go any further.”
The veteran manager told reporters that his ‘desire’ to tell the truth cannot be fulfilled due to the censoring members of the English FA that are preventing him from revealing the supposed hidden truth.
“There are a lot of things we’d like to say and a lot of things we could say but we don’t want to get ourselves into trouble. I don’t think we are digging a bigger hole. It is unfortunate we cannot be more forthcoming.”
“We know what has gone on; we know what is not in the report and that is important for us. But without me getting myself in trouble, that is me finished.”
In the wake of the controversial case, Liverpool have been asked to tread carefully in an effort to avoid bringing on any more unwanted publicity, but it appears the Reds have done just the opposite, which could prove to be costly depending on whether or not the FA take further action.

Thats pretty sad, Suarez is my favorite player as is Liverpool my favorite club. Shouldn’t John Terry get the same suspension as well? I believe it was him who had some racial comments. Do you guys have any idea why that is?
John Terry is set to appear in court on February 2nd. We’ll see what happens then!
