We all know about Nike’s Write the Future ad, which is arguably the best football advertisement of all time. It talked about how players at the World Cup should ‘Write the Future.’ However, even though the World Cup has ended, Nike have created a follow up ad called ‘The Future Has Been Written.’ It’s a fun little video I found on Youtube, and wanted to share it.Obviously Spain came out triumphant in South Africa, and although they are an Adidas sponsored team, the majority of the players in Vincente Del Bosque’s starting eleven were under contract with Nike. In fact, the three key players in the build-up to the World Cup winning goal scored by Iniesta were Fernando Torres, Cesc Fabregas, and of course Iniesta, all of whom are sponsored by Nike.
