The Speciali is an icon of the football boot world – just recently it celebrated it’s 20th anniversary. Now, we’re moving forward with the latest incarnation, the Speciali 3.
Making it’s debut this weekend on the feet of some of the league’s top stars, the Speciali 3 can be seen in both a white, black and nectarine colourway, and a black, white and blue colourway. Professionals who will sport the boots include Real Madrid’s Pepe, John Terry of Chelsea, and Darren Bent of Aston Villa (possibly Liverpool if the talked about transfer goes through) to name a few.
Updating the things that have made the Speciali such a classic football boot, this latest edition is crafted from soft leather and micro-fiber materials on the upper to keep comfort and touch at a premium, while the lightweight TP outsole is designed with forefront flex and heel stability in mind.
The use of blades on the heel of the HG Speciali 3 alongside regular studs also offers extra grip, giving the wearer extra piece of mind.
With assymetrical lacing offering a larger strike zone, and the comfort you’d expect from the Speciali enhanced by an internal sock liner, this new edition of our most iconic boot evolves what makes it so special.
The Speciali 3 will be on sale from January 20, 2012 at selected retailers, so stay tuned to Soccer Reviews. Is this alternate Black/White/Vivid Blue or the launch White/Nectarine colorway better? Leave a comment below.
