We’ve got a huge Wiki(Boot)Leaks for today. We’ve found a pair of black-out Superfly IIIs on eBay, we’ve been given an indication of what’s actually new about the new Mercurial VII series plus we’ve come across a new pair of K-Leather T90 Laser IIIs.
I know we’ve all seen plenty of images of the new Mercurial VII series, but I’ve now come across a new image. I’ve been told that the area in the circle shows what’s different about the boots. I’ve looked at it for about 5 minutes and I really can’t figure it out. I thought I’d hand it over to you guys and see if you can make sense of it. Because I can’t see it! The first picture is of a Superfly II, while the second is of the Vapor VII. Can you see it?
We’ve also come across an extremely rare pair of black out Superfly IIIs. I’m fairly sure that it’s real, and I think that these can only be made to order by professional players. It’s also got SG studs, which further increases the rarity of these boots. In fact, the only other time I’ve seen boots like this is on Robinho. While it’s not his personal pair, it could be a nice pair of boots if you’ve got a spare 500 pounds lying about the house. If you want them, here’s the link and there are pictures below.
Lastly, I’ve found what I believe is one of the last set of T90 colourways until my *estimated* T90 IV release date of sometime in October or November. This mellow colourway might not be worn by Torres. It’s fairly well known that Torres prefers his white k-leather T90 boots. It will be interesting to see if the Liverpool star will feature in these boots, or in fact if he remains at Liverpool by the time these come out! I think they will be released for general sale in either February or March.
That’s it for this episode of Wiki(Boot)Leaks. I know I n0rmally put in a little more detail into my Wiki(Boot)Leaks so sorry it’s a little bit of a whirlwind edition. What do you think is different about the Mercurial VII series?

I think its made of leather cause i can see some stiching.
1st pic shows how the stitches at the bottom of the laces are angled different
I think that the 1st pair is the new mercurial vapor superfly II and the other ore the new mercurial vapor VII without the cover on the laces like there was on the mercurial vapor VI.
But i’m not sure.
i think that the laces are closer to the front end of the boot
Hello Jordon,
Here’s what you need to know: the vapor VII will be available with the same laces as the superfly II. No more lace cover. my pleasure
Elie
What is the difference between the superfly II and superfly III (exept the collour). And how would u know if the blacked out superflys are superfly II or III because they are exactly the same exept different collour
Hey people,
Thanks a lot for picking that the lace cover isn’t there. I look at it now and I can’t believe I didn’t spot it earlier. Kudos to Dries because he was the first to spot it. Great job!
And Umar, I don’t think that they are leather. Because there would be more stitching than what’s there ie near the little toe area. But when Nike released a pair of leather mercurials at EURO 08, it was hugely successful and it’s gone down as one of the best mecurials of all time. Wouldn’t be surprised if we see a reappearance of it this year. We’ll keep you updated!
Andris, it could be the Superfly II. I think he’s put Superfly III there in an attempt to get someone to buy it and think it’s a Superfly III. But in another picture, you can see the boot has similar stitching to the Vapor above. That’s the only sign that I can spot that it’s actually legit.
Please note that the vapor VI was available without the lace cover, but only upon a customized order at nikeid.com
Im glad they removed the lace cover, it made it a hassle to get the boot on, maybe ill buy a pair. The vapors after the vapor III were good looking, but so uncomfortable
Jordan, what do the Total 90 laser IV look like?
Hey Mark,
I haven’t seen images yet. But I’ve heard whispers that Nike are retaining the fins, but possibly removing the pods. That’s all I’ve really heard. In regards to the date, the last T90 III colourway update is in July. Nike normally like a new boot or colourways every 3 months, hence the October or November date.
im surprised nobodys mentioned this yet but the blackout superflys soleplate looks more like plastic a la f50 adizero. factoring this in, these new boots could soon be the lightest in the world
Hey Jordon
Thought you might like these predictions I haven’t decided to post on my website yet. I personally believe that the Superfly III will come out sooner then we think. While everyone expects it to come out this summer I think Nike will push it out as soon as the Adizero II and Adizero Prime will be released in stores. Kind of the same thing Adidas did to Nike last year. I believe this because Nike kinda pushed out the windchill colorway for the superfly out of nowhere and ronaldo debuted it instead of the circut colorway. I think as soon as the Adizero II was released they decided to push out all their last color way (the windchill) hence not seeing any more leaked colorways for the Superfly II.I also agree with you that Nike will do this same thing with the Total 90 IV when the Adipower Predators are releases. I also believe they will attempt this again when the Adipure SL’s are released as they will relesase the Tiempo IV.
Hope you get use of this prediction for your website, as it wouldn’t get enough attention on mine.
Sincerely,
Nicholas A.K.A. Cole
The angle. The Superfly’s have a downward angle while the vapors have more of a rounded angle
Last t90′s will match Torres’s new Chelsea jersey
