Introduction
The Adidas Predator series is arguably the greatest football boot series ever made. Everyone has either owned or wanted a pair of Predators to test or to keep for themselves and SER have finally gotten our hands on the latest Predator model, the Adidas Predator X.
The Adidas Predator soccer shoes were the beginning of a revolution amongst top football boots from around the globe, playing a big part in today’s cleat designs and technologies. Adidas were the first brand to place rubber strips on the boot to create more friction to enhance ball spin. Many top football brands are starting to create their own spin element with inspiration from Adidas’ Predator Element, like Nike with the Total 90 Laser III, Mizuno with the Wave Shinken 2, Reebok with the Valde Pro II and Umbro with the SX Valor II. The Predator Element is something that Adidas have been working on since 1994 with their first Predator release and have using successfully ever since.

I have not found any flaws with this shoes except the grooves in the heel part of the shoe give me slight blisters after I practice in them everyday for a long time. And I am able to produce a shot that is curved and not curved whenever I want to. And I am able to produce dead on straight shots and ronaldo style shots. And i believe this shoes is more comfy than adipure 2 since I own them too because adipures give me blisters on my heels almost immediately. Thanks
I have to say that I really like the performance of these cleats. The PowerSpine really makes a difference in the power transferred to the ball and I get a lot more swerve on my crosses and shots.
However, I’ve had a really difficult time breaking them in. I can only wear them for a half hour at a time due to the blistering I get on the top of my pinky toes and on the outsides of my heels. I believe these are due to the more rigid synthetic materials in those areas of the boot.
I have only worn them for about an hour and a half due to the blistering so I’m hoping they will break in properly and the blistering will stop soon.
