Introduction

After the short but sweet reign of the Adidas F50 Adizero as the lightest football boot in the world, the Puma v1.10 SL have now taken the crown from the German company’s boot.

After the huge hype surrounding the Adizero at the World Cup, Puma dug down deep and have come up with something truly special in the V1.10 SL. We all thought the Adizero would be on the throne for a long time because its 5.8 ounces was truly extraordinary, however Puma have shown that they are now the ones to beat in the speed boot world. James has been testing the boots for around 3 weeks now, and will give you an in-depth look at what he thought of the new soccer cleats from Puma. We’d like to thanks Heather Bouzan and Puma for sending the cleats, making this review possible!

how are the studs holding up? I am very interested in these cleats but I also mainly play on artificial turf so what you said concerned me. Also, have you experienced any sliding on the turf? the studs seem quite small.

      Hey Jack,

Sorry for the delay. James put together a post that just went up in answer to your question. We wanted to take some pictures of the problem for yours and others benefit. Text sometimes just doesn’t do the job. I hope that answers your question. If you have anymore, please let us know, and we’ll get right back to you.

vous me conseillez d’acheter cette paire de puma V1 10 sl ou d’attendre les puma v1 11 sl ?

      Hey lkalou,

I don’t speak much French, but I understand you are asking if you should buy the V1.10 SL or the V1.11 SL? We think they will be the same thing, so buy the V1.10 because it is cheaper.

      Hope you can understand this!
