The ‘Power in Pink’ initiative by Under Armour is back, as the brand continues to support the fight against breast cancer, releasing limited edition versions of the Spotlight and ClutchFit football boots.
These are certain to stand out on the pitch, are set to be worn not only by Arsenal’s Xhaka, but also across Europe by the likes of Bayer Leverkusen’s Tah, Lyon’s Depay and Liverpool’s Alexander-Arnold.
The ClutchFit 2.0 is made for ultimate control featuring a 3-D SpeedForm upper, whereas the Spotlight 2.0 is made for speed with a two-layer construction and a lace cover with a zipper (something that is totally new for football boots).
Once these incarnations hit the shelves, all proceeds will go towards Breast Cancer Awareness charity, Breast Cancer Haven.
Note that, over the years, this initiative has enabled UA to donate $10 million to create the Under Armour Breast Health Innovation Centre in their founding area of Baltimore, Maryland in the US.
